Practice schedule

Our first practice will be a morning practice on June 10th. From there, all practices will be Monday through Friday with the following schedule: HS 7-9am, 11-14u 9-10am, 10&u 10-10:45am, dive (tbd). No Practice on meet days (rest those muscles)!

Calendar and Meet availability for swimmers

We will be continuing with TeamSnap which will show the meets. It is very important that you, as the parent/guardian, complete all of your swimmers availability on TeamSnap, we will be pulling from that list to make the roster for each meet. You can also directly message the coaches or reps through the app. If you swam with us last year you are already set up with the same team account. New swimmers will be added as soon as possible. 

If you need technology help, for example you are having trouble finding your second child’s name, please reach out to Elizabeth Cundari through TeamSnap or email mwdswimteam@gmail.com. 

If you see Elizabeth at the pool you are welcome to approach her as well.

For parent volunteers

For meets, we will need all hands on deck, home meets especially.  We will be using a signup genius. If you do not sign up we will be reaching out to see what you can do. We need at least one parent from each swimmer family due to our small team size and if you have more family available that would be wonderful. 

This year’s Time Trials 

On Saturday June 13 we will be holding an inhouse mini swim meet time trial event from 9am-11am. All swimmers should attend in order to get their heat times for the first meet. If they are unable to attend they will start in a slower heat with an NT or no time. As parents/guardians, we can use volunteers to help make this a true meet feel. The plan is to run it like a meet and split the team into two teams, blue vs silver! This would be a great time for new parents to meet others as well as practice a meet format. 

Team Suits

This year we are trying something new. We are setting up a teamstore on Swimoutlet.com and will have the suit for this year available.  You will have the option to buy through swimoutlet and we get a small portion (like we did with the other store) or you can check out the suit and buy elsewhere at your convenience. After last year’s order disaster we felt it was time to move into the 21st century.

Sponsorship opportunity

We are going to continue with our team sponsorship. We will have options just like last year. Back of the team t-shirt all the way up to the banner that will be displayed during the whole season. Please get the word out to your local businesses! Here is the link to the flyer: Flyer link
